Administrative history
Bootine Primary School was situated north-east of Gingin. Bootine Primary School was opened on 26/01/1906 and operated half-time with Bidaminnie before operating full-time in 1909 until its close on 20 September 1909. Bootine re-opened on 29 January 1920 and operated halff-time with Moore River before operating full-time in 1924. In April 1926 it became Beermullah Primary School.

Administrative history
Beermullah changed its name from Boontine Primary School in April 1926 and was situated north-east of Gingin. It closed on 21 December 1962 and in 1963 children were bussed to Gingin.
