History

The committee was established presumably at the instigation of the State Parliament, to find an alternate site for an agricultural college as the college at Narrogin was no longer suitable. The committee recommended the purchase of Muresk and advised on possible running costs and courses. The Committee liaised closely with the departments of Agriculture and Education and the University of Western Australia.
