History
Dental Board of Western Australia held its first meeting in February 1895. The Board was responsible for the education and discipline of dentists and the registration of all qualified dentists and dental apprentices. Annual lists were published in the Government Gazette. The Board was abolished under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (WA) Act 2010 s. 14(b) (No. 35 of 2010) as at 18 Oct 2010 when a National Registration System was established under the control of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. The Dental Board of WA held its last meeting on 11 October 2010.
