The Karridale Cemetery Board was created following gazettal on the 9 August 1901 of the Governor's approval of Reserve 4236 as a cemetery and the appointment of Trustees under the Cemeteries Act 1897. The Trustees to the Cemetery Board were appointed under the Cemeteries Act 1897
