Field Book No. 11 by Philip Chauncy containing surveys undertaken in the York District. Chauncy describes the scope of his survey as 'Paced survey of new road from York up the west side of the Avon and Dale rivers to the K.G. (King George) Sound, Road at the east bend of the Dale House, then north-westwardly to Beverly, and thence generally along the base line to York.'
