Scope and content

These volumes consist of newspaper cuttings of daily weather reports (mainly a record of rainfall) for Perth and country areas of Western Australia.

The records were transferred to the State Records Office by the Goldfields Water Supply Branch in December 1958 but are believed to have originated from the Perth Observatory.

(The volumes in this Record Series were previously listed at the State Records Office at reference: AN 7/WAT/8, Accession 882).
