History
Following presentation of a log of claims by the Police Association, the Hon. Minister appointed three Commissioners to sit as a board of enquiry into the classification, grade, pay and allowances of the commissioned officers, non-commissioned officers, and constables of the police officer. In order to give authority to their recommendations, they were given powers equivalent to those of Commissioners in the Industrial Court of Arbitration.
