History
Before 1912, there existed the Municipality of Cue, the Municipality of Day Dawn and the Cue Road Board, founded respectively on 1 June 1894, 8 September 1892 and 6 December 1895.
As from 1 November 1912, the two municipalities ceased to exist and the areas they governed were included in the Cue Road Board, of which the name was changed to the Cue - Day Dawn Road Board.
