History
The Office was involved in the redeployment, retraining and provision of support to all staff of the Building Management Authority and Public Works Department who were unsuccessful in obtaining permanent positions under the new organisational structure. The Office was initially established within the Public Service Board, but on 1 July 1987 it was transferred to the Department of Employment and Training to be a specified Division within that Department.
