Ballidu is a small rural wheat/sheep town in the Central Wheatbelt located approximately 240 kilometres north-east of Perth.
Ballidu Primary School was opened on on the 4 September 1922. Prior to this, small local schools at East Ballidu, West Ballidu, Kondut, Damboring and Wongan Hills had served the area.
School was conducted in the then existing galvanised iron and weatherboard hall situated at the corner of Federation and Baroota Streets, Ballidu. School was held there until 1924 when a classroom was built on the site of the present school.
