The Honourable James Andrew McGinty MLA held the office of Minister for Housing; Construction; Services; Heritage in the Labor government Lawrence Ministry between 20 August 1991 and 16 February 1993. Following the reconstitution of the Ministry on 26 November 1992 he exchanged the Services portfolio for that of the Environment and he held this until an election brought about a Liberal government on 16 February 1993.
