In the Land Regulations of 1872 provision was made for certain Crown lands to be available for Special Occupation.
The volumes in this series comprise registers of Special Occupation Leases & Licences issued. The Registers are maintained in SOL no order and give the lessee's name, no of acres and date of registration. Applications for SOL's can be found at WAS 2226.
