Registers of births delivered at Bentley Hospital. The registers record medical record number, surname and christian name of mother, age, parity, estimated date of delivery, actual delivery date and time, induction used, anaesthetic used, method of delivery, perineum, sex, weight and Apgars result for child, doctor attending to birth, further remarks.
(N.B.: Bentley Hospital began using registers purely for births in 1983. Previous to then, births were recorded in the hospital's general registers. Currently, these latter registers are still in custody of the hospital).
