Administrative history
The Perth Road Board came into existence in 1871. Under the Local Government Act of 1960 all road boards became shires on 1 July 1961. The Shire of Perth subsequently became the City of Stirling on 17 November 1970.

House plans for this area between 1947 and the mid-1970s no longer exist. The City of Stirling still retains plans for houses built after the mid-1970s.
