Administrative history
The Claremont Road District was excised from the Perth Road District in 1893. The boundaries were redefined in 1898 when a portion of the area was designated a separate authority, the Municipality of Claremont, later the Town of Claremont . The Claremont Road Board, also occasionally titled the Claremont District Road Board, was renamed the Nedlands Road Board in 1932.
