The represents an example of the sort of work records kept by gangers and includes gangers day books which detail the number of gangers working on a particular job and the work undertaken; notebook with details of culverts laid on a section of the Miling line; and a notebook with tests for platelaying construction work. The diaries were received from Mr Norwood, a former WAGR employee.
