The Community Services Committee was established to:
oversee the calling of tenders for supply of materials, goods and services for Health, Recreation, Libraries and Security Departments.
- oversee the administration of the Health Act and other statutes and legislation relating to the health of the community.
- oversee and make recommendations in relation to library services, recreation and other community facilities, leisure activities, preservation of historical sites, operation of Council museums, policing of parking restrictions, bush fires, off road vehicles and laws relating to domestic animals and stock.
