Administrative history
On 31 October 1902 trustees were appointed to administer Gingin public cemetery. On 14 August 1903 Reserve 7333 was proclaimed a reserve for a public cemetery. On 4 April 1912 a Board was appointed to administer Gingin Cemetery. The Board resigned in 1927 and Gingin Road Board assumed control of the cemetery.

Minutes of meetings of the Gingin Cemetery Board. At the last meeting recorded in the minute book for 12 August 1927 it was moved that the Minister of Lands be asked to receive the resiagnation of the Board and that it be suggested to him that the Road Board should assume control of the cemetery.
