Administrative history
Construction of a new Police Station at 478 Canning Highway, Como, was completed on 28 November 1952. The station was closed on 1 April 1977 and demolished to make way for Kwinana Freeway extensions. It was not replaced as it was considered that other stations in the area could adequately take the work load from Canning Bridge.
