Administrative history
A police constable commenced duties in Dwellingup on 1 February 1912. The police station was built in 1914 but was destroyed in a bush fire that devastated the township on 24 January 1961. A new station was built that year. Dwellingup Police Station closed on 21 March 1969 but re-opened on 16 October 1975.
