Administrative history
Policing of the town of Lake Grace was conducted by the Dumbleyung Poliuce Station (app. 80 kilometres away) until an officer was stationed there in 1924.
The first police station and quarters were completed on 1 September 1926. The station was replaced on the same site in 1971.
