Scope and content

Daily itinerary papers for the Hon Eric Stephen Ripper MLA during his tenure as a Minister within the Lawrence Administration - firstly as Minister for Community Services; Disability Services and later as Minister for The Family; Community Development; Youth Justice; and Disability Services. These files contain documentation relating to the Minister's daily engagements and include copies of inward correspondence, driver summary sheets, draft plans and proposals, newspaper clippings, invitations, reports, proposals and speech notes. The papers deal almost exclusively with the affairs of the Minister's portfolios and include extensive briefing notes for the Minister and associated documentation, such as brochures and annual reports relating to a number of prominent associations and organisations connected with the Minister's portfolios.

At the begining of this series there is a small section containing a number of invitations for the Minister to attend various functions. These invitations relate primarily to functions held within the first few months of 1991, after which point all invitations have been included within the relevant daily papers.

Some files from late 1992 and early 1993 may exclude those daily papers which were required by the Easton Royal Commission.
