History
On 1 September 1985, the State Housing Commission changed its name to Homeswest, with the aim of improving its corporate image and service to the public. Homewest merged with the Government Employees' Housing Authority and the Country Housing Authority on 16 June 1999 to form the Ministry of Housing.
